Contraception- Mirena and Implant Insertion and removal
Mirena is an intrauterine device (IUD) that releases a small amount of hormone to prevent pregnancy. It’s inserted into the uterus by a healthcare provider. The implant (Implanon) is a small, flexible rod that’s inserted under the skin of the upper arm. Both can be inserted and removed by Dr Mary in clinic.
