How does the treatment work?

With PICO Genesis FX, results can be achieved with a higher safety margin and less downtime than traditional fractional resurfacing treatments.
What can I expect during a treatment?

How many treatments are required?
The number of recommended treatments will vary based on the concern being treated. What are the possible side effects? Is there downtime?
Following the Pico Genesis FX treatment, your skin will be red for several hours. Over the next few days, your skin will begin the remodeling and repair process, and you may see some darkening of pigment and slight crusting of the treatment area. Some patients experience an itchy, bumpy texture to the skin. If this occurs the use of anti hystamines are helpful to reduce these symptoms.
Pearl Fractional Resurfacing
Both procedures reduce wrinkles, treat uneven skin texture and tone, address signs of ageing and sun damage, and stimulate the body’s own natural process for creating new collagen.
The fractional therapy exposes only a fraction of the skin to the laser beam in a pattern of tiny dots.
Columns of damaged tissue are selectively removed, leaving surrounding skin intact. Because there is no bleeding the skin structures can be seen thereby enabling the correct amount of old skin tissue to be removed.
The new skin is fresher, healthier, less blemished and contains more collagen thus smoothing or softening wrinkles.
Most patients describe the treatment as a series of fast hot pinches.
A topical numbing cream is applied to the skin prior to treatment to alleviate most discomfort.

Red Veins and Spider Veins
We treat a broad range of vessels from superficial tiny spider veins (telangiectasia), to deep vascular lesionson the face and legs.
For the treatment of these vessels we utilise
Cutera’s Nd: YAG.
This is a non invasive, fast and effective treatment which delivers light energy pulses, causing the blood within the vein to coagulate, and eventually destroying the vessel. Blood flow will then be redirected to veins deeper below your skins surface, where it should be.
Most patients experience a stinging sensation as the pulses of energy are delivered through the skin.
Results can take a few weeks to show. Significant improvement and the final result may take several months.
The use of sunscreen is recommended for any areas exposed to the sun.
Limelight

Limelight delivers a non-invasive light treatment that can be customised for different skin tonesand aging skin conditions.
The result is an exceptionally effective skin rejuvenation treatment with minimal discomfort.
The limelight facial is ideal for any part of your face, neck and decolletage with skin redness, telangiectasia (tiny veins) or brown spots, light ( low contrast) brown spots, which were previously difficult to resolve, now respond very well to treatment.
Immediately following treatment, brown spots will start to darken and your skin may appear slightly red.
Within one to three weeks, the darkened spots will flake off and fade.
It’s the heating of the pigmented brown or red cells that causes the therapeutic effect and when the pulse of light is delivered you may feel a mild pinching or stinging sensation.

Laser genesis is used to treat skin discoloration from broken capillaries.
The heat produced and stored in your dermis during treatment breaks down damaged capillaries and dissipates trapped blood and redness beneath the skin’s surface. Unlike other laser treatments, Laser Genesis is non-ablative, meaning it does not affect the surface of the skin but instead penetrates into the deepest layers of the dermis.

How does it work?
Featuring two powerful, precise wavelengths to target and eliminate unwanted reds, browns, purples and blues on the face and body. The combination of high-performance dual wavelengths (532/1064) and the proprietary long-pulsed Nd:YAG technology provides faster, more efficient clearing of targeted lesions.
The highly absorbed 532 nm wavelength is effective on a variety of superficial vascular lesions. It is especially effective on conditions including rosacea, diffuse redness, and telangiectasias.
While the 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength is effective on deeper, darker vascular lesions including leg and periorbital veins as well as venous lakes and venous malformations.
